How to Transport Medical Equipment Safely
How to Transport Food and Beverages Safely
Pack non-perishable items in sealed, undamaged cartons. Bottles and jars should be placed upright in bottle cartons with dividers or secondary containment to prevent leaks. Use cushioning to eliminate movement and absorb shocks. Parcels over 25kg should be palletised; anything very long or bulky may need a tail-lift or forklift pickup. Ensure parcels do not exceed the courier’s maximum length (commonly up to 5m for specialised freight).
Refer to our packaging requirements for detailed guidelines.
Labelling and Documentation
After booking with Transdirect, you’ll be supplied with shipping labels for your items. Each item is issued a unique label, which must be securely fixed to each item. If labels are not affixed correctly, a Futile Collection fee may apply. For international shipments, please ensure all appropriate customs documentation has been supplied.
