Followmont Transport Couriers
Followmont Transport is a proud Queensland family-owned business that express delivers goods to every corner of Queensland and New South Wales, every day, through its fleet of more than 1,000 vehicles and a unique network of linehaul and local contractors.
Followmont describes itself as the State’s largest family-owned transport company and the preferred Queensland carrier for multi-nationals and local businesses alike.
From Stones Corner to Every Corner of QLD and NSW
Followmont Transport started in 1984, delivering magazines out of a small office in Stones Corner, Brisbane. Today it operates company-owned regional depots alongside a network of local contractors.
With its network and resource reach, Followmont can access locations across Australia that most can’t. Strategic acquisitions and partnerships allow it to cover the East Coast and have freight where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.
According to Followmont, 99% of its freight is delivered in-full and on-time, and every day it travels more than 100,000km and moves 3,000 tonnes.
A Family Business Built on Service
Followmont is a passionate family business, 100% dedicated to service and hands-on relationships with its customers, its people and its suppliers. In its own words: “It’s personal, not commercial.”
Followmont says its values, its people and the way it does things set it apart:
- Service: capitalising on its unique network to provide excellence through service.
- Unity: a family business built on a solid base, committed to teamwork and long-term relationships.
- Passion: passion to deliver regardless of obstacles, for its customers, its people and its supplier network.
- Integrity: commitment from the top down to do what it says, every time.
- Innovation: it’s about solutions, not problems.
- Care: care at every touch point, in every role.
Followmont also focuses on supporting the local communities it services.
